2-Day Advanced Design Series - January 2026

The Advanced Design Series follows the Introduction and Intermediate Series programs where students learn more advanced techniques, such as color theory, recipe building and ultimately begin to develop their own style of floral design. This is where the students become designers and ultimately gain the confidence needed to call yourself a floral designer.

This program focuses on four advanced level techniques and will learn how to differentiate, and create, different design styles including organic, classic and modern style of flowers. Each student will also be responsible for creating a concept and design, picking their own color palette for each instructional technique, and selecting their own flowers to best fit their concept.

In this series, an array of flowers and color palettes are available to students who then choose accompanying vessels and create designs accordingly. Guidance is given based on color, texture and scale appropriateness, and new designer mechanic techniques are…
