The Weekend Florist Series

The Weekend Florist Program is our signature Introduction to Design Program, Intermediate Program and Advanced Design Program offer over the weekend.  This certificate bearing program is perfect for those who would like to learn professional floristry skills if they have week day commitments and can't make our regularly scheduled program.

Weekend 1 August 10 & 11

Day 1

• Class 1: 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Class 2: 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Day 2

• Class 3: 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Class 4: 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Weekend 2  September 21 & 22 

Day 1 

• Class 5 : 9:00am - 12:30pm
• Class 6 : 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Day 2 

• Class 7 : 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Class 8 : 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Weekend 3 October 5th & 6th

Day 1 

• Class 9 : 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Class 10 : 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Day 2 

• Class 11 : 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Class 12 : 1:00pm - 3:30pm

 Skills Include: 

• Learn color theory and how to match flowers with other materials.
• Learn how to use every vase with up to date mechanics.
• how to correctly handle and care for flowers
• how to use a floral knife and clippers
• conditioning of flowers for optimal vase-life longevity
• industry best practices & techniques
• how to highlight flowers most beautiful and unique characteristics
• high-end design styes  that, once learned, can be recreated at home again and again
